The grasshopper has jumped in for another appearance, this time super macro!
Some people might not like him, describing him as a bug but I thing he's really interesting. This little chap jumped into our conservatory and landed on my desk in front of me, so I just had to take his picture. He didn't stay still for very long though and I had to follow him around the conservatory camera in hand trying to get a good shot or two. I hope you agree he strikes a good pose. He eventually decided the photo session was over and leapt off back into the garden. Lovely little fella.

I'm afraid of "bugs" but your photos are really lovely! Made me learn to appreciate the beauty in these creatures.
What a grand shot Dave, lucky you.
I don't like them on me but Bugs can be fun o look at. :) Great shot!
You have captured so well a dude with a very certain 'tude! Great stuff.
Stunning macros Dave! You captured him very professionally.
Luckily we don't receive large crop damage from grasshoppers around here so I am free to love to watch them. I think that if slugs weren't so voracious I could have fun watching them as well. Oh wait, I do! I just feed them to the ducks or cut them in half after I'm entertained.
Stunning blog! very nice...the collection of pictures and the presentation of the digital photography. The newbie in the photographic field should learn from here, some tips of Advanced Digital Photography .
